Why PATHS?
Despite strong academic backgrounds, many graduates and professionals feel unprepared for the realities of practice and future of work. Developed by Tanzania Better Health (TBH) and Stetho Steps, PATHS addresses the critical need for holistic, competency-based learning often overlooked in traditional education.
The program incorporates principles of Human-Centred Design (HCD) and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to help learners build transferable skills, strengthen their portfolio and grow their professional network.
Our curriculum was shaped by insights from 50+ professionals across 20+ fields and is aligned with key regional and global frameworks including the African Union's Agenda 2063, UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and WHO's Global Competency Framework for Universal Health Coverage.
